Hello, and welcome to my corner of the world wide web. I’m Leanna, an outdoor-exploring, tea-drinking, Cardinals-watching southern transplant currently residing in the Midwest.

I’m a pilgrim on this journey called life, passing through on my way to a heavenly kingdom. I’m learning that this world is full of both pleasures and pain, happiness and hardship, ups and downs; and whatever God sends me I’m to embrace as a gift from Him–for my growth and for His glory.

So whether taking in a mountaintop view or viewing a mountain for the taking, I’m on the search for joy in the everyday hard and beautiful. I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. (Phil. 3:12)

Will you join me?

  1. Leanna,
Thank you for your pictures and your own testimony as you shared that of the Gilliam’s.
I am thankful to our Heavenly Father for His Providential care to have ya’ll as neighbors for my sister and her family. It was truly a blessing for your brother, Micah to witness the fire and sound the alarm. Then for your family to jump into action was another blessing and to come and help the day after as well.
May you and your family be eternally blessed!
love and appreciation more than words can speak,
    Jocelynn Goff (Vanessa Gilliam’s sister)

  2. I have never had time to read blogs (imagine that!) but I will make an exception for yours! Next year we will have a BIG Jackson/Lee party!! I thought I was Jacksons biggest fan! I guess I have met my match:-)
