Happy Fall, y’all!

I am slowly emerging from an insanely busy season in the ministry. August was stuffed full of meetings, staff gatherings, and other miscellaneous projects and events. September was spent gearing up for the True Woman ’16 conference. And October has been spent recovering from it all!

Here is a quick update I shared recently with my ministry partners. (If you would like to receive my regular email updates, leave me a comment and I’ll gladly add you to my list!)

This year I served on the media team helping with online customer service during sessions. This new assignment provided a unique perspective into the conference compared to my responsibilities in years past, plus it was physically less demanding, which was a welcome relief (and answer to prayer!)

There was a steady stream of online users looking for help that kept me and one other staff member busy during the main sessions. However, the Friday night prayer simulcast was a different story! We had over 7,000 connections within 15 minutes which blew up our site and our online chat box! It was all five or six of us could do to keep up! Thankfully things got under control and the evening was a success. Gotta love a challenge, right?

Here’s a peek of my view of the conference from the media booth backstage:

We had a full house at the Indianapolis Convention Center with around 7,000 women in attendance from every state in the U.S. as well as from over fifteen countries.

For the Friday evening Cry Out! nationwide prayer simulcast, we had hundreds of thousands of women participate from all fifty states, all ten Canadian provinces, and 100+ additional countries around the world.

We continue to hear from women who were deeply impacted by the weekend:

“I was convicted of my critical and bitter spirit toward those in my
family and church—especially my dear husband. After Nancy’s
session, I immediately called my husband in tears and asked for his
forgiveness—a freeing time from the bondage of sin!”

“God literally ignited in me a passion to pray.
I’m starting a prayer time with my best friend because
we do not want this to be a moment—we want momentum.”

God was so good to provide the physical and mental energy I needed. I’m so grateful for His faithfulness to me!

All of the main sessions are available to watch at TrueWoman.com/events.
