I have never been so grateful for spring as I have this year. It really is true what Midwesterners have been telling me; winter is long and hard, but it’s all worth it when we reach summer!
I’m finally comfortable outside in short sleeves and sandals, and this morning I found pollen on my car for the first time (not that that’s anything worth celebrating over).
I love the reminder of new life that comes when buds begin to form on the trees, and warm rays shine through the window. It warms my heart as well as my skin, this symbol of hope and life.
It does me good to reflect on the goodness of God; His mercy as well as His justice.
Life is long and hard, but it’s all worth it when we reach heaven!
